Vini and the Demons
Brand new and fresh, Vini and the Demons bill themselves as a true down-in-the-dirt gritty blues band. Saying that playing the blues is “a religious calling,” the band formed at Common Grounds Coffeehouse and features two guitars, a harmonica, drums and Gainesville bon vivant Tom Miller on bass. While just recently formed, they have gathered a strong following and filled the coffeehouse for their debut performance in late October. Vini Demon has a gritty blues voice and other band members share vocal duties with him. Their debut show was a fun exploration of rootsy blues, complete with tributes to Muddy Waters and other legends of the blues.- MOON MAGAZINE / GAINESVILLE, FL
